Rabbi Yissocher Frand, as part of a special two-hour evening of Torah learning dedicated in memory of the murdered Mercaz haRav students H'y'd', will i'y'H' be speaking this coming Thursday night, April 3rd, on the topic of Kiddush HaShem, and, as can be seen from the attached schedule, his shiur will be followed by another one, as Rabbi Dovid Gottlieb of Congregation Shomrei Emunah (Baltimore, MD) will i'y'H' speak on the topic of "Must One Be Moser Nefesh to Save K'lal Yisroel?" As in the past, the Webcast can be viewed live, beginning at 9PM, in JEC Room 137, and the entire community is cordially invited. Thank you.

A tremendous THANK YOU (and y'yasheir kochacha!) to all those who have committed to learn various sections of TaNaCH in memory of the murdered Mercaz haRav students H'y'd' -- in the short time (approximately two weeks) since this effort was announced, all TaNaCH sections have been allocated! Because many additional community members want to join this project, another sign-up sheet has been created. Both sign-up sheets are currently on an easel outside the JEC Reibel Beis Medrash. If you wish to electronically consult the list of TaNaCH sections and/or commit to learning one or more available list#2 sections (as noted before, please list alternate choices in case your first choice(s) is/are no longer available), please click on the "Community Siyum!" image on our Shul's homepage (or click on this link) and follow the listed instructions. Thank you!

The JEC has arranged for pickup of Sheimos as a service to our community. The truck and its driver will i'y'H' be in the JEC parking lot this coming Sunday, April 13th, between 8:30AM and 1PM. As noted in the online flyer, anyone who wishes to avail him/herself of this service must give the Sheimos directly to the driver, and cash payment must be made to that driver -- the charge depends on the quantity/container size (the flyer lists three levels: $6 for a shopping bag's worth, $18 for a wine-case box, and $22 for a 50-gallon bag). If you have any questions, please contact the JEC Business Office at 908-355-4850. Thank you.

The most-recent JEC bulletin (spanning erev Pesach, the Chag, and the week thereafter) states that "[t]he Elmora Ave mikva is not in service until further notice" -- actually, this mikvah continues to operate on Friday and Yuntef nights, and, as was stated in a recent bulletin, "call mikva number [908-352-5048] & press *2" to make an appointment for one of those nights. Additionally, it lists a 6:20PM "Blatt (R. Herman) @ JEC" shiur for this coming Shabbos/Shvi'i shel Pesach, but that shiur will not occur on that date -- rather, as the schedule does correctly note, (a) that shiur will i'y'H' occur the following day, Sunday/Acharon shel Pesach, at the listed time of 6:40PM; and (b) the Daf Yomi shiur will i'y'H' occur on Shabbos, beginning at 6PM, and attempt to learn a number of dapim in Maseches Nazir before the scheduled Main-Shul Minchah time of 7:20PM. Last and not least, the bulletin omitted a planned shiur for women which will i'y'H' be given on the last day of Yuntef, Sunday, April 27th, by Rabbi David Hornung in his home, 97 Summit Road, beginning at 5PM, on the topic of the "Greatness of Am Yisrael" -- if you can, please come! Thank you.
