> The first event, the promised Book Club meeting (flyer attached), is scheduled for Monday night, Nov. 17th -- the book chosen for discussion, "The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit," is a memoir by reporter Lucette Lagnado which won this year's Jewish Book Council Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. <

This event is scheduled to occur at the JEC, either in the Halpern Cafeteria (a/k/a/ the "lunchroom") or the JEC Levy Auditorium, beginning at 8PM, and it will feature commentary by Madame Esther Captan (Bruriah's longtime French teacher), who has firsthand knowledge of the setting described by Ms. Lagnado in her book.  Thank you.
