On Sunday mornings, beginning with this coming Sunday, Jan. 7th, our shul, in conjunction with Yeshiva Be'er Yitzchok, is offering all members of the community the opportunity to get the workweek off to an uplifting start with half an hour of learning b'chavrusa (either with a Kollel member of YBY or with another member of the community).  The morning begins with Shacharis at 8:30AM, followed by breakfast and then the learning.  For more details, see the online flyer; to arrange for a chavrusa or inquire further, please reply to Dovid Zweig (or call him at 908-354-6057) or contact Rabbi Avrohom Herman (office phone 908-355-4850 x104).  Thank you!

As noted on the JEC Weekly Bulletin, and as mentioned in recent d'rashos, our community will be joining a nationwide, annual Shovavim Project effort to improve our level of taharah ahead of the coming Chag haPesach with a two-part shiur (flyer attached) for married (and about-to-be-married) men on issues related to Taharas haMishpachah.  Both shiurim are scheduled to begin in the JEC Reibel Beis Medrash at 8:30PM. Rabbi Jonathan Schwartz will give the first shiur on Tuesday, Jan. 30th and concentrate on matters of halachah; Rabbi Avrohom Herman will give the next shiur a week later, on Feb. 6th, and concentrate on matters of hashkafah; and the foci will be the issues of harchakos and of, to quote the title of Rabbi Herman's talk, "Remaining Close From a Distance: Maintaining a loving relationship at all times."  If you can, please join us!  Thank you.

Pursuant to Sections 2.5 and 3.5 of our Shul By-Laws, here is a list of meeting dates for the Shul's Board as well as for the Shul membership.  All meetings are scheduled to begin at 8PM Eastern time.  All General Membership meetings are scheduled to take place in the Main Shul; all other meetings are scheduled to take place in the Board Room; and both venues are located at 330 Elmora Avenue.  Last but not least, all meetings (like any other Elmora Shul activities) have been calendared.  Thank you.
